About the SAFE Standard for Femtech

The femtech industry is growing fast. Apps track your cycle, wearables monitor fertility, and platforms offer everything from telehealth to mental health support. But with hundreds of products on the market, consumers have no reliable way to evaluate which ones are safe, accurate, and built with their best interests in mind.

The SAFE Standard for Femtech exists to change that. We evaluate femtech products across four dimensions — Security, Accuracy, Foundation, and Equity — using a rigorous, transparent methodology. Every score is based on publicly available evidence, and every evaluation follows the same standardized framework.
